Facebook launches replies and threaded comments

FACEBOOK has rolled out individual replies and threaded comments on brand pages. These features allow for community managers and page administrators to respond directly to consumers who have commented within a post and also automatically sort comments so the most active threads are closest to the original post.

This update creates both opportunities and challenges for brands on Facebook. Threaded comments and individual replies are available for brand pages and for personal pages with more than 10,000 subscribers effective immediately. The new features will only be active on posts made after a page opts in. The features will become the default for all brand pages and for personal pages with over 10,000 subscribers effective July 2013.
